PowerBar Performance Milk Chocolate Brownie
I grabbed this bar before heading out for an 11 mile run. Like the previous bars in the Performance line it is pretty solid, but still chewy. While the bar looks good, I’ve got to say that I was disappointed with the taste. It did not taste anything like a chocolate brownie to me. All I came away with was the taste of peanut. I think the bar does a fine job in giving you some energy, but I was not happy with the taste. I paid $1.19 at Meijer in March 2009. Overall, while I did get some energy from it, the let down in the taste makes it a bar that I’ll probably not go back to.
