Pure Protein Strawberry Shortcake

Pure Protein Strawberry Shortcake
I know I’ve reviewed other Pure Protein bars and they have not been my best choices. I decided to give this bar a chance given that it had strawberries and I thought it would be nice change of pace. Good call.
Again, they bars strike me as being small when opened up. The bar is coated and the strawberry layer was tasty. I can’t say it tasted much like strawberry shortcake. I was just glad it didn’t have the aftertaste all of my other Pure Protein bars had. I paid $1.35 at Meijer in August 2009. If you are going to pick this brand, go for this bar.
